By installing, accessing, or using the GBP Insight Chrome Extension and associated website, dashboard, and services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not install or use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
GBP Insight is a browser extension utility designed to assist digital marketers, agency professionals, and local business owners in evaluating Google Business Profile listings on Google Maps™.
All profile inspection, category breakdown, attribute extraction, and review spread analytics are conducted locally within your browser session. The Service assists in organizing and viewing publicly visible profile data side-by-side with your browsing activity.
3. License & Permitted Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, GBP Insight grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, install, and use the extension on compatible web browsers for personal or business purposes.
You agree NOT to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive source code from the extension.
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international laws.
- Bypass or attempt to circumvent authentication tokens, usage quota tracking, or account limitations.
- Use the Service to distribute malware, automate abusive requests, or disrupt third-party services.
4. User Accounts & Security
To access extended scanning quotas and account features, you may register an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. If you discover any unauthorized access or security breach, you agree to notify us immediately.
5. Third-Party Services & Google Disclaimer
Google Maps™ and Google Business Profile™ are registered trademarks of Google LLC. GBP Insight is an independent software application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC or Alphabet Inc.
Your use of Google Maps is separately governed by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. GBP Insight operates as a client-side visual overlay and does not circumvent any access controls or security mechanisms of Google platforms.
6. Intellectual Property
All proprietary algorithms, user interface designs, logos, trademarks, and documentation related to GBP Insight are the exclusive intellectual property of GBP Insight and its creators. Nothing in these Terms confers any rights of ownership or intellectual property to you.
7. Disclaimers & "As-Is" Provision
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
GBP Insight makes no guarantees regarding search rankings, visibility improvements, or revenue gains resulting from listing audits. Google search algorithms and layout presentations are determined solely by Google and subject to changes outside our control.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GBP Insight and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or business goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
9. Termination & Account Deletion
You may terminate these Terms at any time simply by uninstalling the Chrome extension and ceasing use of our website. You can request full deletion of your user account and stored data directly through your dashboard at gbpinsight.com/dashboard. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in abusive or prohibited activity.
10. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to revise or replace these Terms at any time to accommodate product enhancements, security updates, or legal compliance. When updates occur, the updated revision date at the top of this document will be revised accordingly.
